The motto of the College is Technology for Development with a very clear vision to be the best technology institution among all Polytechnics and similar tertiary institutions in Africa and indeed one of the best in the world in terms of technology driven structure.

Ipetu Ijesa College of Technology (ICOTECH) is a Federal Ministry of Education approved tertiary institution through the honourable Minister of Education, recognized and licensed by JAMB and NBTE (National Board for Technical Education, Kaduna) with Approval number C/TEB.553/VOL. III/906.

ICOTECH is a community based College founded on the fear of God, discipline and service to humanity. The College is situated at its temporary campus in easy Life Estate, Ipetu Ijesa, Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria.

We aim to train students do their best, realize their potentials and gain the academic, professional and entrepreneurial skills, essential for career success.

The mission of the college is to produce a total man, morally sound, properly educated, competently skilled and entrepreneurial oriented, that would be useful to him/herself and the society at large.

The college, an epitome of excellence, is a product of several years of planning and strategies, and the institution is accredited and approved by the NATIONAL BOARD FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION (NBTE), JOINT ADMISSION AND MATRICULATION BOARD (JAMB), and FEDERAL MINISTRY OF EDUCATION respectively.

IPETU IJESA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY (IEI)  has gain a good reputation and standard by getting the needed legal documentation and equipment to foster standard and approved education in Nigeria, and since the commencement of industrial and professional training activities during November, 2012 and now incorporated to foster academic carriers of the student in the 2018/2019 session and subsequent calendar, the college has been highly commended for taking the right steps in the right directions.

The first  to tenth sets of our institution “IPETU IJESA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY” will graduate and prove it to the world the immeasurable practicability of our core vision and our ambitions towards the National economy and the development of Africa. All our graduates are eligible to participate in the NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) Scheme without any hitch and recognize better than other counterpart.

The college is an institution named after the great town and located within the town of Ipetu Ijesa (Home of Mat weaving) of Oriade Local Government , Osun State. Ipetu Ijesa is a city located along federal high way that connect lagos, Ibadan, Ilesa, Ile – Oluji, ile Ife, Akure and Abuja together which is a distance of 20 Kilometre to Akure, the capital city of Ondo state, 20 Kilometre to Ilesa, 20 Kilometre to Ile – Oluji in ondo State.

It is about three hours drive to Lagos, and 2 hours to Benin. The town is host to Osun State University, Ipetu Ijesa Campus, Nigerian Airforce Institute of Safety (Airforce Base, Ipetu Ijesa), less than 3 kilometre to Joseph Ayo Babalola University, and the federal Polytechnic Ile oluji, located along Ile – oluji -Ipetu Ijesa Road. The people of Ipetu Ijesa are generally friendly, industrious and accommodating, and have penchant for farming and trading.

Ipetu Ijesa College of Technology is planned and structured to carve a niche for herself in the world cross – skill education (academics and industrials skill base) through her resolve to adopt international benchmark in all areas, including academic curriculum, recent and updated technology, strategies and innovation, infrastructure and general administration.
